This is it! This afternoon, I'm leaving the US for a month.
Am I excited? Yes
Am I stressed? VERY
Regardless of my early preparation efforts, I still find myself rushing to get things done.
So that being said, I will end this very short post on two quick notes.
1) If you start packing early, don't get too confident - there will still be plenty of last minute stuff, and you will find yourself running around in a frenzy trying to get everything done in time.
2) Airline customer service is THE WORST. They will send you back and forth, give you different answers each time you talk to them, and cause endless amounts of frustration. Online check-in is now my worst enemy.
